In Mattu city, a conference of TTI (Teachers Training College) called by TPLF surrogates became a confrontation ground between TPLF ca= dre and participants. The participants of the conference rebuffed allegatio= ns and negative propaganda of TPLF agents against the Oromo people, source revealed.

April 11, 2006= (Oromia) - Since April 07, 2006, the uprising of the Oromo people have been continues in western Hararge Zone= , Oromia. This uprising is coinciding with annivers= ary of surrogate organization, OPDO as they have been striving to celebrate th= eir anniversary. Our heroic people are refused to be part of this falsehood representation of ODPO. Accordingly, the indiscriminately imprisonment = of our people continues as our people refused and protested the anniversar= y celebration of ODPO.

Widespread impris= onment continues in Hernia, in Rakkataa Furaa area, and Odaa.= The government security and military forces have searched individuals’ houses and looted personal belongings. In Hirna, about 100 people were imprisoned without due process of court in the pretext of OLF sympathizers. Similarly, in Galamso= and Machaaraa, indiscriminate and arbitrary arrest continued. 1000 Oromo people have been jailed during these house-to-house searches and languishing in prison cell. Looting personal belongings are looming by government officials and military forces.

Reports reaching = us also indicate uprising against tyranny in Ciroo and Baddeessaa town is also gaining momentu= m.
