ER Staff Writer
The
first anniversary of the Oromo mass resistance spearheaded by students against
the minority TPLF regime was marked on November 9, 2006 by Oromo nationalists.
The
TPLF regime has taken harsh measures against some Oromo nationalists who wanted
to remember their compatriots sacrificed during the peaceful resistance
against the regime.
It
is reported that the following Oromos are being tortured incommunicado in
unidentified detention centers.
Simany
Dayasa, Haimanot Hailu, Raabee Tammanaa and two other youths.
